ANTHEM KNEE SYSTEM

The ANTHEM Total Knee System has been developed to provide an advanced and anatomically suitable prosthesis and tooling system. The ANTHEM Knee System is a total knee prosthesis with an advanced anatomical design of the femur and tibia to improve the anatomical fit of the implant for all patients worldwide.

Description

The ANTHEM knee system is based on a robust design that incorporates clinically advanced technologies such as tibiofemoral articulation and patello-femoral function, which are equivalent to the GENESIS II total knee system, which has a 98% survival rate over 15 years. The ANTHEM Total Knee System, combined with the ORTHOMATCH Universal Instrumentation
Platform, was developed in collaboration with leading surgeons in emerging markets and Europe and provides benefits through improved efficiency through a thought-out design, resulting in tangible benefits for surgeons, patients and healthcare providers. Improved Anatomical Fit of the Implant Knee System

ANTHEM is a total knee prosthesis with an advanced anatomical design of the femur and tibia.
It was developed with the following goals in mind:

  • To improve the anatomical fit of the implant for patients
  • Anthropometrically optimize the low-profile anterior femoral flange to reduce overhanging cases
  • Include the bone-saving design of the PS femur box, preserving the bone reserve of the intercondylar notch
  • Include an anatomical asymmetrical design of the tibial support plate with a shorter, medialized tibial rod for a wider range of anatomical features.
