STERRAD VELOCITY READER INCUBATOR
The STERRAD VELOCITY Reader incubator provides a biological indicator check for the presence of an indicator organism. The device incubates the biological indicator at a temperature of 57 °C (134.6 °F) and provides the final fluorescence measurement results after 30 minutes. The presence or absence of a viable indicator organism in a biological indicator, as indicated by fluorescence, determines the effectiveness of the sterilization cycle.
The device is equipped with a full-color capacitive touch display and eight separate cells for analyzing STERRAD VELOCITY biological indicators. At the bottom of the cells, there is a heating unit that maintains a constant temperature to create favorable conditions for the growth of the indicator organism. There is a built-in barcode scanner that allows you to quickly and easily enter information about the biological indicator and network connectivity.
The indicator, used in conjunction with the reader, provides a quick and reliable way to verify the effectiveness of the STERRAD 100NX sterilization cycle.
