CORONARY BALLOONS FOR PRE- AND POST-DILATION: MINI TREK RX/TREK RX/NC TREK RX
Balloons for pre- and post-dilation
Balloon catheters are used at various stages of coronary stenting.
Predilatation balloons are used to prepare the narrowed area of the artery before the stent is placed – they expand the walls of the vessel and facilitate the passage and opening of the stent.
Post-dilation balloons are used after the stent is placed for its optimal opening and tight fit to the vessel wall, which reduces the risk of restenosis.
Available in various diameters and lengths, they provide high accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency in complex anatomies.
Balloon catheters for pre- and postdilation Mini Trek RX/Trek RX/NC Trek RX
Quick-change (RX) catheters under the conductor 0.014″, 143-145 cm long. Have a proximal single-lumen metal segment and a flexible distal double-lumen section.
Both catheters are equipped with a double hydrophilic coating for improved patency, radiocontrastive tungsten markers, and a thin tip profile (up to 0.43 mm), which allows for easy passage even through complex
stenoses.
The balloons are made of polyester material (Pebax), have a three-petal layout, and a durable two-layer construction (for diameters of 2.25 mm).
Size range: diameters from 1.2 to 5.0 mm, lengths from 6 to 30 mm.
Working pressure: 8 to 12 atm, designed burst pressure: up to 18 atm.
Designed for effective pre- and post-dilation during coronary interventions, including work in narrow and calcified areas.
