OCCLUDER FOR CLOSING THE AURICLE OF THE LEFT ATRIUM (CARDIAC PLUG)

MPLATZER Cardiac Plug (ACP) is a percutaneous device for preventing thrombus embolization from the left atrial appendage in patients with atrial fibrillation. It is possible to move and reposition the plug. The unique design of the lobe is specifically tailored to fit the left atrial appendage. The middle or waist of the plug acts as a flexible connection between the disc and the base, allowing the disc to self-position in the wall of the left atrial appendage. The disc ensures complete closure of the appendage’s opening. Two radiopaque markers and two radiopaque threads ensure visibility of the device.
